Consequently, uvex has implemented over 300 measures to improve its carbon footprint by investing in new technologies, processes and green energy to measurably reduce CO₂ output by 70% since 2012. In addition to this, we are proud of our ISO accreditations to Environmental management systems – ISO 14001, Energy management systems – ISO 15000 and Guidance on social responsibility ISO 26000 that some of our facilities have achieved, and our commitment overall to become carbon neutral in the future.
